A tough, hardy Australian native sometimes known as Shore Westringia, Westringia Dampieri is a compact form with grey/green foliage and produces white flowers with purple tinges between June and January. Native to the coastal regions from Carnarvon and most of the coast to the Nullabor, Dampieri can handle salt spray making it suitable for coastal or poolside gardens as well as inland gardens/landscapes. It also naturally grows on limestone cliffs, so it suits alkaline soils. A very hardy and low water use plant, Dampieri is great for low maintenance landscaping. Plant in full sun on well-drained to sandy soils. Tip prune in early Spring or after flowering to increase shrub density. Can grow to height of 1.5m and a width of 1m.
