The Japanese Sacred Bamboo (Nandina domestica) is a native plant native in East Asia in the areas covering the Himalayans all the way to the Japan islands. An evergreen, medium-sized shrub with clusters of slender upright canes that grow up to 2 meters in height. It's bright green foliage turns red in autumn. This plant also produces white flowers in summer which are followed by red berries.
